Description: The Beatrice in Chelsea is New Yorks newest chic mixed hotel and high end rental. The long lobby makes the transition from outside to inside with light and warmth. To do so, Architect Philip Koether designed light screens 12 feet tall with exotic puffed aluminum and resin cast panels for texture and color. The screens illuminate from the inside, and block ambient light from the outside.
